Do you have classic 35" square silk scarves you can't bear to part with, but don't know how to wear? In the past years, over-sized squares and long oblongs, meant to be wrapped, have taken fashion by storm, while the smaller square was often overlooked.
So here's a thought: Wear your square in a new-for-you way, like my client Michele did. When I was shopping her closet, I noticed several distinct Hermes orange boxes, each filled with the most gorgeous, opulently colored square. They had all been acquired over the years and she had a wonderful and pristine collection.
I decided to make them a signature. Rather than knotting them around her neck, I tied them at her waist. They transformed a simple navy blouse and skirt into an eye-catching ensemble and were much more distinctive and memorable than a belt.
